An old saying states: “The best defense is an offense!” I have to disagree with that. Being offensive never really helped anyone get further in any area of life. Of course if you are in a combat type sport it may work out well, but in general living all you do is invite drama into your life.

I know from experience it is really difficult at times not to respond, not to let the person know just what I think about their statements especially when they are done on public forums, but over the years I have learned a valuable lesson. The more you engage with those types of people the more you fuel their fire. Don’t respond at all and it dies down a lot quicker. Most of the time it is just running off at the mouth anyways in order to attract attention. There is one thing that is different in financial domination and even in BDSM in general. Bad attention is not just as good as positive attention. In many ways it comes down to giving people enough rope and they will hang them-selves eventually. You don’t have to do a thing to help them. Simply sit back and let the show unfold.

As Mistresses we are not used to taken “lip” from others, it goes against our grain. On the other hand as mature Mistresses you have learned as well that you can control yourself and not jump on every foolish statement, every grand standing, every notion that is contrary to your thoughts. That is the wonderful thing about our life and fetish world as well. It takes all types of people in order to make life interesting.

As a Mentor I have learned that you shouldn’t correct everyone either. They have a right to think their thoughts and voice their opinions just as the rest of us do. It is not fair to anyone to “hush them up” so to speak. They need to be allowed to have their say, to speak out, to make their voice heard. We don’t have to agree with everything, matter of fact we don’t have to agree with anything, but we have to respect their right to their opinions. That is the bottom line really.

Same goes with the gentlemen who are part of our lifestyle or communities. I have lost count how many times I wanted to let them know just what I thought of their comments and behaviors, but it really doesn’t do any good. It becomes futile to try to help people to “see the light” as we see it. Why? Because we all have our own version of reality and what is real to us.

To many people respect, old fashioned manners, protocols and rituals are outdated. They have become obsolete in most of our every day society and in many ways it is a shame to see that trend. At least it is to me, but I am one of those Mistresses that still enjoys this type of interaction.

Can you control and I mean really control another persons actions? Not in the online world and most of the time not in the real world either. Once you turn your back on someone they are still free to do whatever they want and many do. What you can control is your own actions and your own words. Always remember that you will be judged by your actions, behaviors and your words no matter if they are written down or spoken. No matter who you are, no matter what you say, there will be many who agree with you and many others who will disagree. That is part of life!

For me personally it is unnecessary to be rude or sarcastic to someone with whom I don’t feel any kinship. Yes we “humiliate” the boys a lot and that is simply because in many cases their blog posts are written to solicit that sort of commentary. Call it a freebie we throw them. Something to amuse everyone. It is done in that type of spirit. Humiliate a fellow Mistress so and you are out of bounds.

Remember the golden rule and it is a golden rule. Never do to someone what you wouldn’t want done to yourself. Time will always end up telling us what is what and who is who. We don’t have to help it along at all. The one thing I personally enjoy about getting older is that many things which would have set me off hard when I was younger, now are just a passing irritant and in most cases I just smile about them.

I have seen people at 18 being more mature than at 50. On the other hand I have seen people at 18 thinking they knew all the answers too and once they hit 30 they realized that in the end we don’t know everything at all. There is always something new to learn, something new to discover which will throw up unanswered questions for us.

You can waste your time and energy getting angry, defensive, irritated or down right obnoxious or you can keep that energy and use it for something more worthy. You can use it to educate yourself. You can use it to build your legacy. You can use it to build solid friendships with people whom you enjoy. There are a million better things to do with it.

So if you see something that just really rubs you wrong, consider this. It may not be easier, but in the end it will be a lot more productive to sit on your hands and not respond negatively to something you don’t agree with just because it may have been said in an offensive way. That by the way doesn’t just go for financial domination but for life in general. You don’t show your strength by being the bigger Bitch. All you do is waste your time and energy.

Let’s take first of a look at how MISTAKES happen:

• You were unaware of all the facts and made a rash assumption.
• You are still new to all of this and are just learning all the unspoken rules of the fetish
• You were given false information and acted on the information you were given.
• You trusted the wrong people
• You became desperate and did the wrong thing
• You fell into the biggest dog has the most bones trap
• You wanted to represent yourself as more than you were in order to gain respect from your peers.

All of those things can and will lead to making mistakes. Some mistakes are small and almost unnoticeable which can be easier fixed while others are glaring. Sadly often we end up compounding those mistakes by either trying to cover them up or worst yet get into “bitch drag outs” in public places when the “mob” comes after us.

In case you are not aware of what I mean by the “mob” let me explain this lovely little concept to you. Those are the little groups of other findoms who delight in dragging other women through the mud and making their life miserable in order to make themselves look better. Think of it as the “high school version” of a bunch of popular kids attacking a new kid or a kid with problems to instigate a fight. NO matter who you are sooner or later it is assumed you are going to break your silence and start pushing back. Now comes the whole screaming “fight fight fight” and suddenly EVERYONE pays attention. That is exactly what the entire goal was for the attack. Now whatever had taken place is being drug out into the limelight and you are being put on display as the “horrible bad guy”.

It doesn’t end there so. Oh no, because well gossip is lovely. Even people who didn’t witness the entire verbal fight (in which you probably made even more of an ass of yourself since you might have said things in anger you didn’t do or didn’t mean) will hear about it from someone and often enough from more than one person. Which now gives credit to it since most people and even I in most cases might dismiss hearing about something ones but will pay closer attention to something that has been told to me 4 or 5 times.

See where this is getting really dangerous?

In real life you may say to yourself: “I don’t care what others say and think about me. Screw them. I know what is true and what really happened. My friends know me and they still like and trust me.”

Online and especially in the financial fetish world those words may be brave but you better think twice about them. Here your reputation can make you or break you!

So one or two mistakes in the wrong hands and it has just spiralled out of control.

Of course there is something the mob doesn’t consider either. Oh yes people love drama that is why they watch reality TV shows so much and it is so nice to be able to point the finger at someone else and be smuck..”I am so much better than xyz!” Problem is, you are not! EVERYONE has made mistakes before, you may have just been lucky enough to notice it before you made it into a huge mistake or you weren’t caught out.

Mistakes become less and less as you grow in this fetish and become more watchful of the actions you take, but for the first few years…holy crap!

Now that we talked that part to death let’s move on to what you can do to restore your reputation once it has taken a hit.

First of all if what you were accused of is true don’t lie about it. It is better to admit to what you REALLY did, than to claim injured party. Did you sent a tribute demand to an owned boy because your silly ass didn’t bother looking at his profile close enough to read that he was owned? Admit it and apologize to the Mistress and the boy. It takes a lot of strong character to go to the person you have caused injustice to and say: ” I made a major mistake. I contacted your owned property and demanded money without actually paying attention to his profile. It wasn’t  until later that I found out that he was owned by you. I am very sorry and I hope you will forgive me for this. I won’t do this again. I learned to be more vigilant.”

Now as long as you are truly remorseful about it and won’t do it again, most honorable Mistresses will accept your apology and move on. It has happened to me before where a young woman screwed up like that and after realizing that the boy belonged to me (he told her in no uncertain terms) came to me with that apology. My response was…”OK thank you for apologizing, that means a lot. I was told about it and yes I was pissed at you. Let’s just forget about it and move on. Don’t ever do this to me or anyone else again so.”

When people approached me about it after I flat out told them. “Yes I was pissed but she came to me like a grown woman and an honorable Mistress and apologized to me. It is over and done. I want this dropped now!”

Of course if you ever do it again, it is no longer a mistake but toe stepping. So beware of your rash actions.

Yes it will take time for things to die down, as I said you have those who won’t let you rest because they love making others miserable and them appear better, but I promise you it will.

If you get asked about it by someone with a bit more cloud and experience than you in a polite way, don’t become rude or defensive. It is a really good sign if someone with a good reputation and long-standing experience comes to ask you about it personally instead of just condemning you without knowing your side of the story. In real time BDSM we have what are consider  “Mediators”. Those are well-known and respected Masters and Mistresses in the community who step in and try to smooth things over. They will go to both parties involved, hear both out and then see if not an agreement to bury the hatchet can be reached. It is a great thing, because it can help to keep the community strong and running smoothly. Consider it like that and just take a deep breath and be honest.

Whatever you do never get into a shouting match or who can outdom the other with anyone. Those types of pissing contests are not a show of strength, but a show of insecurity. You have nothing to proof by being a uberbitch to people, no matter if they are peers or boys.

If the problem still doesn’t die down and you have already done whatever steps you can (apologize, spoken to a mediator if one approached, have let it drop and not let yourself get sucked into the public mud-slinging, not doing the pissing contest etc.) all you can do is continue on with what you were doing and be 100% sure you watch yourself, your behavior, your tongue and your actions so you don’t repeat the same mistake again.

Remember once is forgivable and those who can’t forgive a one time mistake can go take a long walk off a very short bridge. We are glad they are super human but most of us aren’t. Twice and more so is no longer a mistake and than you are accountable a lot more than before.

A smudged reputation can be restored with time, work and patience, but in all honesty it can only be done once.

I hope this helped out a little bit and please let me remind you, don’t claim you have proof of something that is just hear-say. Don’t escalate drama just because you have nothing better to do with your life and please remember WE ALL (yes including me) have screwed up somewhere, somehow and we were given a second chance.

I hope the New Year is finding you well so far and that you had a safe slide into 2012. Mine was nice and quiet – just the way I like it. I don’t go out into the crowds on New Years or any other times you can find a huge gathering of drunk idiots in one place. Not my thing! Which of course is the perfect opening for today’s post about the ups and downs of forced intox sessions from the Mistress point of view!

Forced Intox Sessions and financial domination usually fit pretty well together since once again the guy is completely loosing his sense of control. Of course in that case the Mistress has to be double on the guard not only because it is one of those sessions where the excuses are tripled, but because the guy really doesn’t know what he is doing after a while. So you have to rein him in when he gets too drunk.

Since I like finishing things of with a positive note I want to get the downsides of forced intox out of the way first!

The excuses why he can’t make his tributes just tripled!

In some cases they may be legit, but in most cases they are a bunch of hogwash. Remember that when a guy is drunk he will promise you just about anything in order to push the envelope further, but will seldom follow through. For that reason, always end the session when he starts arguing with you the very first time about making a tribute to you that he agreed to or has offered himself, or when he uses the excuse that “his fingers don’t seem to want to work / he can’t seem to see the page well enough to do it”. Well honey if you are that drunk we need to stop right here, simply because pushing you further might just result in alcohol poisoning. We wouldn’t want to cause you harm, would we? Yes, boys, we can make excuses too. Of course there is such a thing as alcohol poisoning but the chances of you getting it is pretty darn slim. The point is – you stop behaving when it comes to paying up and the session is now over! Period and done.

Their manners become pretty shady the more they drink!

Most guys who are into forced intox are seldom classifiable as submissives to begin with. Most of the time they are just guys that want to be told to drink more, be used etc. They may be fetishists but not even that is always the case. Nobody likes to drink alone and forced intox sessions are great for guys that don’t have anyone in their life and have a fantasy of being under control to a powerful Mistress who is going to “abuse” and “use” them.

I am sure you have seen the whole ”beer muscle” thing in real life frequently and belief me it is no different when you are dealing with a lush online. They can go from being pretty nice at times to becoming raging assholes in 2.2 seconds once the amount it takes for them to lose their inhibitions hit. Personally the moment they start talking too much shit, calling me out of my name or acting as if they can be in charge, my sessions are over! It was fun while it lasted, but now the fun is over.

They think they are able to do things still they simply can’t safely!

Most drunks do not realize when they are no longer able to walk across the street to get more beer, or drive to the closest liquor store. You need to be able to judge if they are still safe to be allowed to be out in public. I usually send them on their beer run no later then their 2nd bottle for car, or 4th for walking across the street. I personally prefer that they are well stocked up before we even begin. I feel better knowing that while I am forcing them to get completely drunk and stupid they remain safe inside their home. This way the can’t hurt them-selves or anyone else.

Those sessions can become pretty drawn out at times and slow towards the end!

The more he drinks the less he is able to follow your orders. That is just a fact. Most of the time they seem to have an off switch somewhere inside their little brains that goes on half/half. Meaning they aren’t drunk enough yet to pass out, but they sure aren’t all together here anymore either. During those times you may have to repeat your orders 3 to 4 times and be patient for them to follow through. Most of those guys suddenly want to start babbling on about things that have nothing at all to do with what you are doing right now. I know that I wanted to brain a few of them a couple of times to get them back on track. The only thing you can do at this point is be patient, stop the session, or if he still pays start the timed fines to get him refocused.

Now to the positive!

Talking about amusing!

As long as they are still able to actually follow directions you can do some screwed up shit with those guys and they won’t even think twice about following through. You have to remember that the more they drink the less inhibitions they have. So sober he may never dress as Miss Piggy and make out with your version of Kermit the Frog on Video and post it to porntube, or as long as he is still dressed on youtube, but order it while he is drunk and no problem. Sober he may never use that cucumber to fuck his little ass and sing “Like a Virgin, touched for the very first time” on the top of his lungs for you to record, but drunk eh what do I do next Mistress? Yup, once they are drunk they are pretty much up for anything. Of course that in itself is hilarious too, because the more up they become the more down their little friends become. Limb dick anyone?

Talkative little Monkey’s!

For some reason when they are drunk you don’t even have to ask them to give you personal information on them. I swear those guys are lucky I never take them up on some of the shit I have been offered by them. I have been given their SS#’s, full addressed, credit card information, bank information and more. Hell I even know where their parents live including their phone numbers. Wife’s details… yup had them before too including all her most personal details. You know these guys really are a dream for someone who is into identity theft – they would hand it all right over wrapped up in a pink bow without ever being asked. For me personally? I won’t write this information down, now keep it anywhere near on my computer. I keep all my chats and emails, but I will erase those bits of information once we are done. I don’t want to take the chance that my computer ever gets hacked and someone gets that information on them. That is way too dangerous.

Of course it is great when you are dealing with a guy that is already under your consensual blackmail contract. Meaning that was all done and signed BEFORE he got drunk. Now you can really gather some evidence against him. Hilarious when they can’t even remember giving you all that shit afterwards and are wondering how the hell you know all this.  On that note, NO I won’t allow a guy to sign one of my consensual blackmail contracts while he is drunk. He can buy it, but I won’t accept the turn in until after he has sobered up again. That is something you have to do while you are sober, not while you don’t know what the hell you are doing.

They have no concept of money!

On the pure greed level it can be pretty good as well. Well most of the time and only until they start their “I can’t seem to find the pay button Mistress BS”. My advice, take your tributes before they get really drunk. There is a fine line between drunk and too drunk. Once you hit the “too drunk” level the financial aspect of the game is over. I’ve had a guy send me a amazon.com e-certificate many time when I ordered a $20 one and he send me a $200 instead because he no longer knew what he was doing. Of course sorry buster, once I have it cashed in, you can whine the next day all you want. It is mine! On the opposite side I had guys try to pretend to be too drunk and send $20 instead of $200 before as well. In that case guess what for each “mistake” you make we just added another $50… try it again buster!

Now to the advice part for the new to forced intox combined with financial fuckery individuals. Most will call it financial domination, but I won’t. It is pure and simple financial fuckery, because you are not dominating him per se. You are getting the guy drunk and literally taking advantage of his state of stupidity. Let’s always call it what it is. You may order him around and make him do stupid shit for your amusement, but there comes a point when he will literally volunteer to do all sorts of things and sooner or later you do end up loosing control over him. The fact is that a drunk is almost impossible to control constantly and fully. So all you can do is enjoy the ride and take him for whatever you can get. Yes, I said it, you read it. I don’t belief in lying and if we all want to be honest with ourselves and each other that is exactly what it is.

As you have already read once he gets to a point of being too drunk or pretending to be too drunk (yes some guys are clever even being drunk lol) you won’t get a penny out of him. So always make sure you get a “buy in” at the beginning you can live with and get your tributes fairly early on and throughout. This way you won’t be sitting there with nothing but “hahaha” and nothing else to show for your time. Doing it on credit is a mistake. Yes, even I will still do that from time to time, but I go into it with the knowledge that I am standing a 90% chance of being ripped off. Doing it on credit means in my case I have already received the buy in, but since the guy has very little financially I am adding small tributes up like $5.00 a pop and let him pay up when he hits a certain amount. Of course most of the time you never see it. My last forced intox owes me $55.00 and I will never see it. I already wrote it off, but of course I will never play with the guy again and his Video is now on my clips4sale store so I can make my money back. Works for me. Oh and if you ever decide to do that, make sure you get a full permission first in your email and take a photo of his face and his ID clearly shown. YOu’ll need that paperwork to post it.

Make sure he is and remains safe. Doing forced intox with someone means you are taking responsibility for his safety at least to a reasonable level. Don’t let him get drunk and drive while you are in a session with him. What he does after you left him is no longer your responsibility, but during it is very much so. I usually ask them to eat something before we get started. That minimizes the chance of them getting too sick later and it also slows the process of getting drunk down a little bit.

Don’t drink with them! I know it is tempting for those of you Ladies who love to indulge in alcohol, but both of you being drunk is not a good idea. Remember what I said you have to try to keep as much hold of the situation as possible. Just like a guy will do all sorts of screwed up stuff when he is drunk, so will you. Unless you want to lose all respect later, stay sober.
