If I had a dime for every time a gentleman came on my messenger proclaiming loudly he is a slave – a pay piggy etc. I could retire right now and live in great comfort. If I had a quarter for each time I have been cussed at, harassed, or a guy after making such a claim when he didn’t get what HE WANTED for as long as HE WANTED IT, I could buy myself and island and put a castle on it.

The fact is that a slave - a true slave – would be abhorred by the attitudes, actions and words that come out of some of those guys’ mouth. Regardless if threats are involved or not, the first line says so straight forward : act of systematic and/or continued unwanted and annoying actions of one party or a group. At this point it becomes harassment.

A slave would never allow himself do anything of that nature. This would be alien to him and he wouldn’t even understand why anyone would do such a thing. Yet I find it ironic that those who proclaim the loudest they are slaves tend to do this the most. MMM makes you think doesn’t it.

A slave would never tell a Lady to “fuck off”, call her “Babe”, or try to bargain with her. None of those are slave behaviors in the least.

A slave understands the value of the Ladies time and respects it. Not pushes her until she will walk away from him/her completely.

A slave understands that a Lady might have some personal space needs as well, he may offer himself as amusement, but will respect her declination of such if she is not in the mood.

A slave understands that the most important thing is his respect and honor. When he promises something he will never break that promise. He will not blame his bad behavior on the Lady. EVER

A slave understands that he may request something, but never demand it. He may never threaten her, make her feel uncomfortable in any way or otherwise upset her. That would hurt a slave more than any physical pain in the world, since his entire being desires to only make her happy.

A slave understands that rewards are to be earned and not something he has a right to. It is at the digression of the Lady whom he serves to see when he has earned this.

See what I mean? Anyone can learn to talk pretty, to use buzz words, to speak admiringly and worshipful. When the actions are in direct opposition of what he is doing however he only shows himself in a very bad light. No Lady will want him for her slave.

I have written endless Articles on how to and how not to approach a Domina if you want to make first contact. In order for it to be a quicker learning experience I have chosen to teach it this time like you do in middle school or music school….word association by letter. The word for this particular lesson is R.E.S.P.E.C.T.

Ironically that is all that those rules really amount to, but for some of you that little fact is just not clicking in. So here we go.

R. stands for: Recognize that she doesn’t owe you the time to talk to you, and that she might just be too busy with her life to waste it on you for free. You need to remember that we give you things for free constantly, and so if a Lady demands or expects a small introduction gift (that is all it is by the way) so she can see you truly do appreciate her, then you can simply see it as repaying her for all the freebies she has already given you. E. stands for: Entertain her, not annoy her. You boys have the hardest time with understanding the difference for some reason. Look, even if we are willing to give you a few moments for free because we are feeling either bored, generous, in the mood for a nice chat, doesn’t mean you should try to take the mile if we give you an inch. If you first come to me for a conversation and I have decided that just perhaps I feel like chatting for a bit, don’t overload me with fetish talk. I have to be in the mood for that, and when I first start talking to someone the last thing I feel like doing is discuss your cock size, your desire to lick my feet clean or whatever other little issues you might be having. There is nothing lamer then some boy coming on a messenger and start off with: “Hi” and followed by “I want …” I get so tired of not only the utter lack of respect that such a greeting brings to my doorstep (do I look like your buddy from kindergarten?), but by the lack of intelligence to know that you never greet a respected person that way. Introduce yourself in the first couple of sentences, use my name or respect greeting (Ma’am) and at least pretend to care how my day is and if I am busy. Not that difficult. Let me even once more type it out for you, this way you simply have to copy and paste it filling in your information: Greetings Ma’am (or enter her name), my name is ……., I am a …….year old, submissive / slave/ fetishist/ man (whatever fits) from …….(enter location.) I have heard about you / found you/ read your writing at (enter location) and I was wondering if you are too busy at the moment to speak to me for a few moments. …. Now in my case this should be done inside of the $40 introduction gift pay to view or with an amazon e-certificate attached. Why because I work online and I don’t have time to waste it constantly and at least this way I know you are a. old enough to talk to, b, have the funds to tribute and the way, and c. are into financial domination.

P. stands for: POLITE! There is a huge difference between blowing sunshine up my ass and being polite. I am one of those Ladies who get really irritated and bored when someone gives me textbook answers or tries to tell me how beautiful I am. E. stands for: Educate yourself first about her! Before you start running to a particular Lady, start reading up a little about her first. See if you actually have anything in common besides both being adults and kinky. You have no clue how much of a difference that really makes in the end. What do you have that I can turn into an assignment because you are adept at it? Trust me jerking off is not a talent, any retard can do that.

T. stands for: Tribute … yes we hate that word because it is so mundane and so cold. But what does Tribute actually stand for? Webster Dictionary defines the word Tribute as follows:

R.E.S.P.E.C.T. – learn it, use it, live it and please for gracious sakes start acting on it!

today we are going to deal with some practical things instead of the fun of draining and training. Yes that is all part of it to me.

No matter how wonderful you may be or your Lady may be, if nobody knows she is there it won't do a lick of good. So in order for new seekers to find her, she needs her own online presence.

Joining financial domination forums is a wonderful idea, but it still keeps you limited to only profile pages. Which means you are not going to be able to be your own boss on most of them. Due to federal regulations the Owners of those forum has to limit you to certain things. For example you can not post any photos of yourself topless or nude without having to comply with 2257 Laws. Which means the Owners of the Forums would be required by law to ask you to fill out and submit a Model Release from and a copy of your ID in order to be allowed to host those photos. Nobody wants to have to put up with that sort of hassle.

If you do want to join a financial domination forum, I advise you to research them a little first. You want to make certain they are reputable and are in good standing. Ask around, see what is being said about them. How long do they stay around or are they here today and gone tomorrow.

Are they free to join, or do you have to pay a minimum membership fee to be active. Each has its own benefit.

I own and operate http://www.financialdominationworld.com which is not going to have a huge Membership count for the fact that I charge a small monthly fee which gives you blogging rights, forum use, chat room and your profile etc with no limitations on advertising your own stores, websites etc. There are no seperate levels of membership there, they are all equal. But still since most folks don't want to pay, the numbers will remain small.

There a couple free-to-join forums I personally belong to which may be of benefit to you as well, but since I can not post the links without the site owners permission I won't add them here.

So you have a profile on a forum and that is great, because now you get seen by the boys on the community sites, but it won't help you to be seen by those who don't belong there.

You need to set up your own website to reach a larger audience of potential seekers. Boys creating a "worship site" for your Lady with her permission of course, is a great way of helping her as well. Afterall you want her to have as many good boys serving her as possible right?

The first thing you need to do is find a good and reliable Domain Registrant that doesn't rip you off and a reliable Host which allows adult content. A lot of them don't!

After trying out a lot of them I have found only one that suits my needs perfectly. I register my Domains with them, host my sites with them and they have NEVER crashed on me. No outages or down time. Their price is more then reasonable and you can host as many domains on one hosting package as you have purchased space.

I have used Godaddy.com for the last 6 years now, for both my adult and non-adult ventures and as I said I have never had a problem with them. The wonderful thing is that you can also get a free wordpress blog attached to your domain with them. Since you are hosting via Godaddy you don't have the adult hinderances on wordpress. A wonderful solution.

Now you have the perfect hosting company and domain registrant in them. Time to think of a Domain name!

Since you want your name to rise in the Google ranking you need to be smart. Think of keywords which may be looked up. Try to incorperate at least one keyword in the domain name. That will take a little work on your part, but trust me it is worth it.

Try to keep your Domain name simple and relatively short. Make it count!

Another tip, if you purchase the Hosting via Godaddy and purchase the Domain with them as well, you get the Domain registration for the first year for $1.99 instead of the regular fee. So it is definately worth it. Make sure you do it all at the same time.

If you want to build a Membership Site you need to have a CGI bin available, if not you can use the economy hosting. I use the next one up from there and it works like a charm.

I only pay $6.99 a month for my hosting package, which is dirt cheap.

Now think design! NO matter if you design your own Websites like I do or hire someone, you need to know what you want to do with it and how you want it to look.

I keep mine really simple, no big flash and whistles since it only slows the upload time down. Remember that boys are impatient to get at your content, so the more you slow the loading time down the less they are even going to stick around to see it.

Add QUALITY Photos, stay as far away from grappy webcam screen shots as possible. If you can produce a good screen shot that is clean and crips by all means use it. But if it is grainy and barely visible don't!

As you can see each has its very own layout style. 

I personally use Dreamweaver MX for design which is easy to learn and Adobe Photoshop for my Images.

Your Index page should look neat and not gluttered up, make it attractive without being over the top. I know great looking professional sites are wonderful, but I am not a big studio. I am just me, a one woman ruled empire! So I keep my designs simple and rather concentrate on the content.

Use keywords but don't spam them.

Give each Page a title, that shows up in the search engines as well.

You are building and adult site, so you need to make sure you have adult content warning and you need to make it clear that by entering they agree to your TOS.

If you plan on having ANY Photos or clips with even partial nudity on them, be it yours or your subs, you need to add a 2257 compliants statement on the index page. Make sure that you keep all your records in order!

Protect your content and add a copyright notice to the index page as well as to each of your images (watermark them) and your clips.

Take a notebook and figure out what all you want to add as content. The more you plan ahead and organize things, the easier it will be for you to update and maintain.

Create your own style as closely fitting your personality as possible. Think of your website as your home on the internet. It should represent who you are!

Make the colorschemes easy on the eye and the texts easy to read.

For a financial domination website I would suggest you add at minimum:

• About you (tell them a little about yourself and your experience level)
• Your Blog link (remember you can sign up for a free blog with your hosting package)
• Your Rules
• Any links to clips4sale, NF, Talksugar or whatever you may have
• Any open Positions
• A small Gallery
• Tribute opportunities
• Contact Information

Those should be the minimum you have represented.

Keep navigation as simple as possible and think "retard" when you set it up. Trust me you have to tell some people that they have to "click here" to be taken to the next page!

Keep the layout uniform. Meaning don't suddenly start switching colors etc in the in between.

I redesign my websites slightly every other 3 months or so, because it actually keep the spiders happy. Meaning the Search Engine Spiders.

Banners! Create a Banner or more.

For adding your website to different 100 top lists etc you want a banner. The regular (standard) banner size is 468 px X 60 px.

Again make it your own.

Update your blog regularily, at least 3 Times a week and hook it  into your Twitter account and any other adult content approved social networking you have.

Keep your expectations realistic! A new website takes about 6 to 8 Weeks to be picked up by major search engines and depending on how good of a job you have done, that is where they will be placed in the pages. A  listing in page 20 is seldom going to be seen.

YES you need to actually add your URL to different search engines. I am not going to lie to you, building and marketing your website is very time consuming at first. YOu really need to put some work in, but it is worth it in the end.

You can not be lazy for this. Spend your 30 hours to get started and don't complain about it.

Add content to your website regularily, change it around a little and be creative without being gitschy.

Make strong statements and keep the Rules clear. It doesn't matter if the boys agree with them or not, some will and some won't.

But those who won't are not the ones you want anyways.

I will lose clients because I am making very clear what I won't do! But those are the clients I would have lost anyways! This way I already sorted them before they ever get started talking to me.

If you have more then one website like me interlink them as much as possible. Categories your blogs. If you can't figure out what belongs where so won't anyone else.

IN your design work set up folders and put the right content where it belongs. Think ahead, be organized, be clean and crisp in your design work.

Once it is set up and public ask several different people from differnent locations to look at your site for you. This way you can find out if you have any broken links, if it shows up ok. Ask for feedback! Don't get mad if they don't like what they see. They may give you good input or they may just not like it because it doesn't suit them. Shift through the feedback carefully and fix what is broken. Don't change things if it is just a personal preference.

If you hire someone to create your website for you, work with them closely and PLEASE have an idea of what you want. Don't keep changing your mind mindstream. I have build sites for other Ladies before and they kept changing their mind, or didn't know what they wanted. I ended up telling them to forget about it, because I really don't have the time to waste.

YES I charge for website designing and Banner creations. I won't do it for free and I will only do basic designs as you see on mine. But they are never the less effective.

I suggest not to depend on a sub to create your personal site for you if he doesn't have the experience or is not trust worthy. A "tribute site" can be done by him and for you on his dime and time. YOURS needs to be done right and quickly. Not whenever he gets around to it.

HAVE the content ready when you start out. You can add more as time goes by and you should, but never leave pages that are hooked in blank.

That looks unfinished and will not reflect well on you. If a page is not done yet, just don't link it or have the click here for it until you are ready.

Let's talk a bit about contact for new seekers. When you get into this fetish either as a lifestyle or as an occassional fetish you need to set some ground rules you stick with as a Domme. Goes all back to standards really.

How much are you willing to give a new seeker before you start demanding some sort of show of appreciation? I understand fully that the first tribute question and time before you require it is a difficult one for most people.

A tricky "sub" can go years without ever making a tribute to anyone and still get off for free. We call them "Wankers", because that is all they are out for. To talk about their fantasy, without actually ever doing anything. They are the freebie hounds of the spectrum, and belief it is their right as a guy to get everything they want for free. "Hell the "Bitches" think they should get paid for nothing, right?" The problem with that sort of thinking is that we are not getting paid for nothing. Those of us who are truly into financial domination, put a lot of time and effort into all we do. Even taking the time to weed through the merit of applicants who are 80% false takes up a lot of our time and energy. Building our websites, updating our blogs to allow the boys to find us and know us a little, takes time.

Once we actually take you on and start training you, there is a lot of "behind the scenes" thought process and planning that goes on. You only see the results, you seldom get to see the process. A good Domme, is going to try to make it as exciting for her submissive as it is for her. She is not going to just take your tribute and run, but will spend time with you, for you and set specific goals for you as well. We don't get paid an hourly wage so to speak or you could never afford serving us. Quiet often a regular boy or gurl shows his apprecation via a weekly tribute which is agreed upon, but receives a lot of personal time. LOL if it was all about the money, we would be poor business women indeed, since the equivilation of it normally doesn't even come out to minimum wage after you take all the time spent into account.

In order for me to not spend too much time on "hopeless applicants" or "non-matches" I have a personal 3 contact Rule for new seekers. This is set for the benefit of only giving what I am willing to give for free to them, without any hard feelings after. Remember that the only person who can waste your time is yourself. So by sticking to my personal Rule, I never feel as if I wasted my time. A win-win for me.

Now remember those are the people who claim they wish to serve me long term and want an actual D/s relationship with me. Not just a one off. Trust me sugars, you can tell within the first 15 min. of a conversation what the boys /gurls true motivation is. So here in detail is my 3 contact Rule.

Contact #1: Make yourself known to me and an introduction period.

Since I am not a Domme to go out hunting submissives and send them emails to get to know me, you as the submissive have to come to me. I am to be woed, not do the woeing. The power balance should start right there. To me Ladies who send endless spam mails and sales pitches to submissives are not Dommes but are Fetish Cam girls for hire. Nothing wrong with that, but a different category all together.

So if you wish my attention you have to come crawling to me, introduce yourself to me and see if I am available to chat with you. Your first impression with me, will set the tone with me. I understand that manners seem to be something a lot of boys have not been required to have with the overload of online Dommes these days, but when you approach me they are a must have.

I will respond to "Hi", but you are already in the minus. That is I will respond if I feel like it. Needless to say, you are already labled by me as an unintelligent moron, who can not even put a good first sentence together.  Think of it as going to an interview, would you just walk in plop your ass down on a chair and say "HI"? If you do, you will never get that job, unless  you can change it quickly.

Depending on how well you do, I will take a certain amount of time (usually no more then 20 min.) to ask you questions and get to know you a little. Remember that your responses and how quickly you make them, how well formulated they are etc. make a big difference.

Contact #2: Going a little bit deeper into knowing the person behind the name.

That usually goes for both ends. Now I want to know more about your private life, your past history with financial domination and your dreams, goals and desires. I will ask you questions about what you have read on my website and how you understood it. Now if you never went and actually read it like I told you to, it will become very apperant to me at this point. Which tells me you are only looking for the private chats, but are not really interested in getting to know anything about me. You will also be told to ask me questions. Your lack of questions for me or the questions you do ask me will further determine what your fate with me will be. This contact can last anywhere from 5 min. to 20 min. depending on how well you do, or how much time I have available at that moment.

Should you pass, I will invite you back.. If not I am going to honestly tell you that I don't feel as if we are going to get along well and send you on your way.

Contact #3: Decision making time.

If you have made it this far, you should know by now if you want to serve me or not. Obviousely I am interested, or you would already been gone. Now however comes the time to put your wallet where your mouth is, and verify your ability to tribute to me. This is the time when almost 8 out of 10 fail and / or start getting rude. Since I am not going to sit here and talk to you forever for free (don't be stupid), you will get about 5 min. to talk a little and then you will be told which show of apprecition I desire. At this point I seldom put a price tag on it, but let you decide the amount for yourself. I also inform you that if I see it in my inbox or cash equivilant online venue, we continue talking. If not you are gone. Pretty simple and straight forward. I won't accept cash in the mail promises, and if you insist on this then well you will wait until I have received it. Same goes with Amazon Wishlist purchases, since boys have a dirty habit of canceling them after.

So as you see it is all up front with me. I receive the tribute we start talking sincerly and see where you may fit in. I will give you a couple of pre-requisit assignments to fill and a deadline for them. You fill them, you will go on and start a deeper conversation and getting to know your place period. If I feel you are doing very well you will be offered UC in due time.

One thing is that only time will tell how sincere you are. I have had many boys who did really good for the first 1 to 2 weeks and suddenly started to peter out, because they were thinking that it is only fetish all the time, or just couldn't meet up with my requirements. It is a fact that anything that is new is exciting, but actually getting trained and serving the Goddess takes effort and can become a bit tedious. I mean there will be times you just don't feel like writing that text I gave you, or doing that assignment, or getting yourself on my messenger for your daily greeting to me. All that is understood, but if you want to be my slave, then you will do it regardless if you feel like it that day or not.
